On June 28, under the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa and Dr. Tran Son Tung, a delegation of China Studies students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), arrived in Wuhan, Hubei province, to participate in a two-week internship program from 28th June, 2026 to 11th July, 2026 at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST).

The China Studies student delegation, well-prepared beforehand, voiced their willingness to acquire new knowledge and experience via oncoming hands-on activities. This journey will not only provide chances for further knowledge acquisition but also room for self-improvement in the international environment.
In the opening ceremony, representing the School of Humanities at HUST, Associate Professor Li Junjun, Vice Dean of the School, expressed his pleasure welcoming the Chinese Studies students from the Faculty of Oriental Studies. He also introduced the University's academic opportunities and encouraged students to consider future study prospects at HUST.

Mr. Wang Yong, the faculty representative responsible for hosting the delegation from the School of Humanities, also shared his delight at seeing the summer program continue to receive strong support. He noted that the program has not only attracted enthusiastic participation from new student cohorts but has also earned positive recognition from students who previously attended the summer camp.

Regarding the Vietnamese delegation, Dr. Tran Son Tung, the faculty teacher leading the student delegation, expressed his appreciation towards the thoughtful organizing and meticulous welcome of HUST towards the China studies students, faculty of Oriental studies, USSH.
Also, a student from cohort 68 — Mai Thi Nhai also delivered a speech during the ceremony, expressing her excitement and anticipation for the upcoming 14-day program of study and cultural immersion at HUST.
